What made you decide to become an interior designer?
From an early age, I developed a passion for interior design through constantly painting and rearranging my bedroom and gravitating towards design-focused subjects at school.
I enjoy working with colour, texture, and materials, and exploring how these elements come together to create considered, functional, and thoughtfully resolved homes.
What is your own personal favourite style?
My personal favourite style is modern farmhouse, combining clean, contemporary lines with warmth, texture, and a sense of lived‑in comfort. I’m drawn to neutral, layered palettes paired with natural materials such as timber, stone, and linen to create spaces that feel both refined and welcoming.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not at work?
Outside of work, I value spending quality time with loved ones, enjoying the outdoors with my golden retriever, taking coastal weekend getaways, and attending live sporting events.
Do you have any interior design tips that may help people start from scratch?
When starting from scratch, first decide how you want your home to feel— for example warm and inviting, light and airy, or dark and minimal. This vision helps guide all design decisions. Start saving images of spaces you love (Pinterest is a great tool) and bring them to your Edge Colour Appointment to help your interior designer understand your style. Begin by selecting key finishes used throughout the home, such as flooring, cabinetry, and benchtops, to ensure a cohesive result.

Do you have any interior design tips that may help people start from scratch?
Identify your own style, find what resonates with you. Pinterest is a great starting point for curating aesthetics, but natural routines and habits can help guide the functional choices you choose for your floor plan.
What made you decide to become an interior designer?
Growing up surrounded by technology, I spent hours playing online games where I could design virtual houses. Playing with colours and floorplans became my favourite pastime activity which is where my passion for design truly began.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not at work?
I enjoy water sports and have recently taken up tennis.
What is your own personal favourite style?
Palm springs. I love the bright colours and clean lines used in the mid-century architecture. It’s a dream of mine to travel there!

Our expert interior designer will guide you through this exciting process and help you decide on a colour scheme that will look amazing, as well as feel personal to your tastes.
Your New Home Consultant will book your appointment with the Edge Selection Studio at either a 9:30am or 1:30pm time slot. Appointments will run for approximately 3-4hours for a single storey home, whereas a double can be up to a whole day.
It is best to be prepared for your appointment. Although our interior designer will help you make decisions it is important you have an idea of your favourite styles.
